What will you do?   

As a Supervisor in our Factory Service Centre you are responsible for supporting the manager with the daily operations and managing the Factory Service Centre in the absence of the Manger.  Your responsibilities also include assisting customers with repairs of our products/equipment, including electric (both AC & DC), pneumatic and gasoline-powered tools, supporting the sale of accessories, and parts, and answering general product questions.


What will you work on?

  • Provide customer service to our clients/dealers and the public, assisting with the de-escalating difficult situations.
  • Ensure all Service Technicians are trained to repair our product/equipment.
  • Repair customer tools/products.
  • Ensure appropriate service levels are maintained in the FSC.
  • Work with management on customer service initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation pertaining to customer sales and work orders.
  • Ensure FSC is clean and organized, consistent with the Makita brand image.
  • Provide support to other FSC’s and other Makita departments as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties/projects as assigned.





To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5) year of related experience repairing tools/equipment.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with the use of and repairing electric (both AC & DC), pneumatic and gasoline-powered tools.
  • Experience with desktop software applications

  • Inventory Management: inventory control, shipping and receiving an asset.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment, with the ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, also includes a lot of reaching, lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, and twisting.
  • Basic knowledge of English to serve customers in either language.
